Thank you for your music in all these years! But it would be even greater to see you live in Germany. You could make lots of thousands of fans happy, if you would find your way to Europe again.

Oh, when you make snarky comments, its best to remain unknown, even if its true.

The night after reading your comments, I had the weirdest dream.
I was at a Heart concert. There were tons of people there. But then, as I was watching them play, they were in a grassy meadow, with trees behind them. There were lots of monarch butterflies flying around the band. Then, there was just one butterfly flying around. Nancy was trying get it to land on her guitar. She kept sticking the top of her guitar up into the air, but it wouldn’t land. Suddenly, I was Nancy. The butterfly landed on my arm, then it bit me! It felt like a bee sting. I slapped it, and it fell down into the grass. I cried, and asked why did it bite me?
Ann said, “stop being mean to it.” The butterfly, suddenly, was a Border Collie. It got up and ran scared into the woods. I ran after it because it was my dog. I kept yelling for my dog to come back, but it kept running. The dog ran into the river. He tried to swim back to me, but he couldn’t swim fast enough. The river was now the ocean. And the tide kept pulling my dog, farther and farther away. It was all my fault. I had hurt him and scared him into the water. I was so upset. Then I woke up.
It took a long time to get back asleep. I felt bad until a got fully awake in the morning.

I was bored by this, and I'd recommend everyone to pass on listening to this. The summary/history contained inaccuracies. The interviewer was terrible, and asked mostly unhelpful questions. Nancy seemed to recognize the lack of interviewing skill, and as a result she was tentative in her responses. Like I say, pass on this, unless you like wasting your time. No new information here for the astute Heart fan.

Here’s one that’ll cause you to stop and think. There’s an old song I came across called “The Very Thought of You” that was made famous years ago by Billy Holiday. It’s been done by countless other artist as well and was also recorded ironically by a famous jazz singer named Nancy Wilson. In my own opinion I believe that Ms. Wilson has the best rendition to date, but … while listening to it I thought, “I bet Ann could make this tune just pop!” It would be interesting to hear what Ann & Nancy think about this.

I think it was a studio demo that she later performed live on her Live album. It's a great album... very intimate.

Half Moon:

I really liked the mandolin in Half Moon. It reminded me a lot of Sylvan Song/Dream of the Archer. I hadn’t heard this song before, as I shy away from ‘live’ albums. Is this a ‘live’ recording from the album? It doesn’t sound like it. The recording quality is good, and there are no annoying audience noises.

But the lyrics of emotional paralysis are unsettling. This set of lyrics seems particularly painful:

“Someday, I’m gonna make a move,
From this ‘security-instead-of-love’,
Find somebody right, who’s gonna know my heart,
But for now, this is good enough.”

This is not a description of successfully living life, but of just surviving life. I hope the lyrics are just a sad fiction, or ancient memories of an old relationship, long since ended.

But I LOVE the mandolin!

Ann does look amazing. Nancy is no slouch, either, but sometimes Ann just has this time machine and you look at her and think, Ann did you just come direct from 1983 or something...she looks like she did from Passionworks.
pretty blood amazing!
