Band hits studio early 2009
From their publisher in a press release:
´The band will hit the studio in early 2009 to record their 14th album´.
´And Heart are gearing up to mark the 30th anniversary of their classic double-platinum album Dog & Butterfly in 2009 with special events and celebrations´.
From management on the official BBS: So far they’ve written five songs – which i have not heard. Producer is not attached yet.
And from Nancy herself on her journal: We are busy writing for the new studio Heart album and start recording in about 5 weeks.

HOPE THEY RECORD THE WHOLE ALBUM THIS SPRING AND RELEASE BEFORE SUMMER!-THEY RECORD NEW MATERIAL BY TOURING THEM FIRST[TESTING THEM THRU AUDIENCE REACTION] SO BY READING THE TOUR DATES FOR 2009-THAT GOT ME WORRIED THAT THE CD DATE WOULD BE PUSHED BACK EVEN FARTHUR TO THE FALL OR WINTER MAYBE? LOOKS THAT WAY FROM HOW THEY WORK- GUESSING FROM OTHER CD RELEASES FROM THEIR PAST.[OFF COURSE THIS IS JUST SPECULATION?/THEY MAY SURPRISE EVERYONE!]

I read the journal entry you referred to above. In it Nancy says, “Gamble everything for love.” Now, that seems a tad extreme. Would you gamble your honor for love? Would you rob a bank? Would you gamble your sanity for love? We need some clarification, here, before following this advise.
I think Nancy was a little over-enthusiastic the day she wrote that. Certainly she has some limits. Actually, the Heart lyrics, “Why can’t I break out? Why won’t he reach out?”, seem to suggest the opposite view. Hmm! Make up your mind, girl!
